The Holy Quran’s importance can not be overemphasized, as regards the practice of Islam in the world. The
majority of the companions who are more knowledgeable in the field of Qur’an and its exegesis are seen as leaders
to the extent that the Prophet (SWT) said if you want to learn Qur’an, you should learn from four specific
companions he mentioned. These companions are Abdullah bin Mas’ud, Mu’adh bn Jabal, Ubayy bn Ka’b, and
Saalim ( the ally of Abu Hudhaifa). These companions are not the only ones who know about the Qur’an, but their
excellence made them recognized.
On a particular occasion, the prophet (SAW) said to Ubayy, verily Allah has commanded me to recite to you, and
Ubayy said, “Allah mentioned my name!” the prophet (SAW) said Allah (SWT) mentioned your name. After that,
Ubayy cried because of the joy that Allah mentioned his name.
Also, as it is well known that the prophet(SAW) is the one that receives the Qur’anic revelation from Allah (SWT).
Yet the prophet (SAW) asked Ubayy about the most significant verse in the Qur’an, which Ubayy called Aayat ul
Kursiyy.
However, despite the importance of Memorize Quran
many people do not know the easiest way to memorize the Holy Qur’an. Many people aim to memorize Quran all,
but due to the lack of the right method and guide, they did not achieve their aim.
Among the easiest way to memorize the Qur’an is to get a teacher who specializes in the field of Qur’an. It is best if
is a person who has learned the various books on tajweed, and he knows the different ways of reciting the Holy
Qur’an. If you want to learn the Qur’an Perfectly, you should try to recite it to your teacher physically. Still, if this is
not feasible, you can recite to him virtually.
Once you have a teacher, the next thing you should do is starting with the shorter verses, because since you are used
to reciting them on your solat, it will be straightforward to memorize. The benefit of memorizing these short verses
is that it strengthens your brain. It will accommodate the longer verses.
As Allah (SWT) said in the Holy Qur’an, “ recite what is easy of the Qur’an.” Surat ul Muzzammil (verse 20)
The above verses show that one should be comfortable with oneself when reciting the Qur’an if one is told to be easy
with oneself during recitation. Then, the period of memorization requires the highest level of calmness.

revealed to the prophet (SAW) once, Allah (SWT) responded with the following verses.
“Thus, that we may strengthen your heart by it and we have arranged it well in meaning”

The above verses show clearly that for you to have the Qur’an firmly in your heart, you should recite it in portions.
Once you take note of the above ways for easy memorization, you should ask Allah (SWT) for an increase in
knowledge. This is the only thing that the prophet was directed to ask for an increase.
Allah (SWT) said, “Do not make haste with the Quran before its revelation is made complete to you and say: O my
Lord! increase me in knowledge.” Surah Taha (verse 114).
As the prophet said in a Hadith that it would be said to the people of the Qur’an, recite and rise because your final
abode today is where you stopped the recitation. It is, therefore, necessary that every Muslims try to memorize a
part of the Qur’an if they can not memorize all because of the benefit promised for the Hufaaz. May Allah (SWT)
