Parents want to know what age for their children is appropriate for learning Quran online. In Quran
teachers’ experience, the perfect age, and that recommended by our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) is 7 years
old.
A 2014 Brown University study concluded that responsibilities and most habits are formed in
children by 9 years of age, around 3rd grade. So, it’s better to start encouraging them before that.
More than 1,000 years ago, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) already delivered that information.
The reward for teaching the Quran to children
Mu’adh al-Juhani reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:
If anyone recites the Quran and acts according to its content, on the Day of Judgement his parents
will be given to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun in the dwellings of this
the world if it were among you. So, what do you think of him who acts according to this? Da’if (Al-
Albani)
If you are eager to enroll your children to learn Quran online who are earlier than 7 years of age, the
the key is to be engaged with them during the class to help them with the mouse, clicking items, and
talking to the teacher
For learners 7 years of age and younger, we recommend Quran classes no longer than 30 minutes,
as we’d like to make the Quran class fun and light instead of making it formal for the child.
May Allah عزوجل help keep our children on the straight path always, Ameen.
Hidden blessings during this Hard time Coronavirus disease
We are in unprecedented times that our generation has never seen or experienced before. That
the global shutdown of schools, businesses, transportation, and mosques has brought our society to
a complete halt.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “How wonderful is the case of a believer; it is good for him in
everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to
Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better
for him”.[Muslim].
We as Muslims find ourselves in a further situation. Yes, we are anxious, worried about our loved
ones contracting the virus, and concerned about what it means for our financial status. We also
know this is an opportunity to turn to Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
Surah Ash-Sharh:
“So, surely with hardship comes ease.
Surely with ˹that˺ hardship comes ˹more˺ ease.”
Man is in need of worship; Worship in all its forms such as prayer, fasting, and supplication, reading
the Qur’an, remembrance of Allah, giving charity, helping the needy, stopping harming others,
enjoining good and forbidding evil, speaking the word of truth, supporting the oppressed, and other
acts of worship and obedience, are among the greatest reasons that help a Muslim to be steadfast
during the tribulation.
because he lacks Allah Almighty in all his circumstances; because it is Allah who created him,
brought him into existence from nothingness, then brought him to life and provided him with
provision and he is the One in Whose hand is the death, life, happiness, and comfort of this human
being.
Surah Fatir: 15 “O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the
Praiseworthy.”
The reward of learning the Quran, memorizing it, and being skillful in its recitation as mentioned in
Hadith (ﷺ) said, “The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur’an will be with the honorable
and obedient scribes (angels) and he who recites the Quran and finds it difficult to recite, doing his
best to recite it in the best way possible will have two rewards.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.”
[At- Tirmidhi].

from your regular attention span to your short-term memory and then into your long-term memory.

be sure to return to previously memorized lines after each new one.
2- beautify your recitation:
Improving your Qur’an recitation by applying Tajweed rules can be the best way to memorize
Qur’an fast. Tajweed is the most important science of the Quran. Tajweed can be defined as the skill
of keeping the tongue from committing a mistake in the recitation of Allah’s words. It is also defined
as giving every letter in the Qur’an its rights and dues of characteristics by observing the rules that
apply to those letters in different situations and their articulation points.
3- Associate any line with its rhyming partner.
