Ustadha Ibtesam Mamdouh Mohamed Elmahallawy is an Egyptian Quran, Tajweed, and Arabic teacher with more than 17 years of experience teaching the Qur’an to students of different ages and levels. She holds Ijazahs in the Qur’an with Hafs and Shu‘bah from ‘Asim, as well as Ijazahs in several foundational texts and methods related to Qur’an recitation and Tajweed, including Tuhfat al-Atfal, Al-Jazariyyah, Noor Al-Bayan, and Al-Qa‘idah Al-Nuraniyyah. Her teaching approach is based on interactive, student-centered, and step-by-step learning, with a strong focus on simplifying information and adapting lessons to each student’s individual needs. She is particularly skilled at explaining Tajweed rules and reading principles in a clear and accessible way for students from different backgrounds and age groups.
