What You Will Learn

  • Recognize the basic articulation points of Arabic letters.

  • Apply the basic rules of Meem Sakinah.
  • Understand the basic rules of Madd.
  • Recognize basic Qalqalah letters and apply Qalqalah correctly.
  • Apply basic rules of Lam and Ra.
  • Improve Quranic pronunciation and reading fluency.
  • Identify and correct common Tajweed mistakes.
  • Read Quranic verses with greater confidence and accuracy.

Prerequisites

  • Be able to recognize and read basic Arabic letters.
  • Have basic ability to read Quranic Arabic.
  • Be willing to practice Quran recitation regularly.
  • No previous formal Tajweed study is required.

Certificate

  • Students who successfully complete the course requirements and pass the final assessment receive:
  • Tajweed – Beginner Completion Certificate
  • #Important: This certificate is a course completion certificate and does not constitute an Ijaza in Quranic recitation.
  • The certificate confirms successful completion of the academy's Beginner Tajweed program.

A free trial lesson is available to assess the student’s Quran reading and recitation level, meet the teacher, and develop an initial learning plan tailored to the student’s needs.

Students who cannot yet read Arabic letters or Quranic words may benefit from completing a Quran Reading / Arabic Reading Foundation Course before beginning Tajweed.
