An advanced and structured program in Hadith Sciences designed for students who already have a strong foundation in Hadith and Hadith terminology and want to develop deeper skills in studying, analyzing, and researching Prophetic traditions. The course covers advanced topics including Isnad analysis, narrator evaluation, Al-Jarh wa At-Ta'dil, Hadith defects (`Ilal), Hadith verification and Takhrij, differences between narrations, Matn criticism, and the methodologies of major Hadith scholars. Students learn how to work with primary Hadith sources, trace different chains and narrations, compare Isnad and Matn variations, and understand the principles scholars use when evaluating Hadith reports. The course is delivered through personalized one-to-one online lessons, allowing the selected sources, Hadith texts, and depth of study to be adapted to the student's background and academic goals.

Prerequisites

  • Have completed the Hadith Course – Intermediate level or have equivalent knowledge.
  • Have a strong understanding of essential Hadith terminology.
  • Understand the major classifications of Hadith.
  • Have a basic foundation in Isnad and narrator studies.
  • Be able to read Arabic Hadith texts or work with them with teacher guidance.
  • Have a good foundation in Islamic Studies.
  • Be willing to engage in structured study, analysis, and research.
  • A good level of Arabic is strongly recommended because the Advanced level involves working with original Hadith texts and classical Arabic references.
  • An initial assessment may be conducted to determine whether the Advanced level is appropriate for the student.

Certificate

  • Hadith Course – Advanced Certificate of Completion
  • The certificate recognizes the student's completion of the Advanced Hadith program and progress in Hadith Sciences, Hadith methodology, Isnad analysis, narrator evaluation, Takhrij, and Hadith research.
  • Important: This is a course completion certificate. It is not an Ijazah, academic degree, or specialized qualification in Hadith Sciences, and it does not by itself authorize the holder to issue Hadith rulings, Fatwas, or scholarly judgments.
