The testing of the effects of Holy Quran memorization on elderly people was done in a study. It included men from Saudia Arab whose age were 54+. Moreover, men from Mosques that were eligible for this study were included.

 

Everything from the weight, lifestyle, depression, blood pressure, and a lot of other factors were examined through a simple questionnaire. So what were the results? Well, surprisingly enough, men who memorized at least 10 sections of the Holy Qur’an had decreased anxiety, hypertension, and diabetes.

This was in comparison with the others who had memorized 0.5 sections of the Holy Book. Therefore, this gives us quite a practical idea of just a single benefit of memorizing The Holy Quran.

The questionnaire was developed in two forms. The before and after effects of memorizing the Holy Book and its effects on an individual’s life. These forms were totally open and the candidates did a great job in showing their response.

Moreover, the results were totally positive and there was not a single negative impact of Memorizing The Holy Quran in anyone’s life. This shows us a great example of how memorizing the Holy Qur’an is the ultimate way to live a happy and successful life.
